Service Terms

The service
ShiftReady LLC operates ShiftReady, a restaurant training workspace. Contact Drew Shirback at drew@shiftready.works for onboarding, support, account questions or a request concerning your data.
ShiftReady helps restaurants organize source material into lessons, practice, knowledge checks and records of practical training. The public Shifty's Bistro sample and its staff, training records, recipes and prices are fictional examples. Public demo progress is temporary and does not create a real certification.
Accounts and restaurant access
Use accurate account information, protect your sign-in credentials and only access organizations and locations where you have permission. An organization’s authorized owners manage its memberships. Do not attempt to access another restaurant’s materials, manipulate assessments or record a practical observation that did not occur.
Your materials and review responsibilities
Only submit materials you have permission to use. You retain ownership of your materials and allow ShiftReady and its service providers to store and process them to operate the service for your organization.
Your restaurant must review source text, lessons, answer keys, ingredient and allergen statements, operating procedures, and practical requirements before publishing. Draft generation can reproduce omissions, extraction errors or ambiguous wording. Uploaded documents are not automatically approved. When source information changes, an authorized manager should update the course and decide whether retraining is required.
Readiness and practical training
Readiness reflects the assigned course requirements and recorded results. Where practical approval is required, an authorized trainer must observe the work and record their own dated sign-off. A ShiftReady completion record is not a professional license, a government certification, a guarantee of safe performance, or a replacement for legally required training and supervision.
Acceptable use
Do not upload unlawful content, malware, payment-card details or information unrelated to restaurant training. Do not misuse employee records, impersonate another person, compromise the service or attempt to bypass organization, location or role restrictions. ShiftReady may restrict access to address misuse or security issues; contact support if you believe an account was restricted in error.
Service access and charges
ShiftReady is an active restaurant-training business preparing to serve restaurant customers. Availability, assisted onboarding scope and any charges will be agreed directly with the restaurant before a paid arrangement begins. These terms do not authorize automatic billing or promise a free plan. Any paid agreement must explain the price, renewal, cancellation and refund terms before acceptance.
Service changes and support
ShiftReady may improve its service over time. Contact support about access problems, suspected incorrect training records, exports or account closure. ShiftReady prepares and publishes course updates after the restaurant reviews their accuracy. Material changes to these terms should be communicated before they take effect.
Privacy
The privacy policy at https://shiftready.works/privacy describes account and restaurant training information, service providers, retention and contact options. Organization owners should explain their training and employee-record practices to their teams.
